Pre-race youth instructions
Packet pick up:
Packet pickup is at Lake Tye Park. Early in the week, prior to the event, you will receive a confirmation email and registration information. You can search for your confirmation of entry on the sign up page.
You are strongly encouraged to pick up on Friday night August 2nd, from 4:00 – 6:30 PM. Packet pick-up, day of race, will open at 6:30 AM and close at 7:30.

Transition Area: will open at 6:30AM on Saturday.
Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting: 7:45 AM
Race Start Times: 8:00 AM Olympic Triathlon, Aquabike; 8:40 Sprint Triathlon, Aquabike, Duathlon *transition area closes at 8:20 Youth 10.40 approx.

- You will be required to affix your bike number to your bike and have your body marked before you enter the transition area.
- After the race, both numbers will be checked again as you exit transition. You will not be allowed to take your bike out of transition after the race unless you show your race number corresponding to your bike number. The Transition Area is open to registered athletes only.
- Please, no spectators or family members are allowed inside the transition area.
Finish Time: You must be able to complete the course within about 3.5 hours.
Licensing: This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Categories: Standard USA Triathlon Age Group categories, including relays. Athena/Clydsdale awards are not by age group.
What are the distances for each leg of the Sprint Duathlon? Is it a Run-bike-run? A bike-Run? TI cannot find these details on the website or the registration page.
Hi Chris, It is the sprint tri distnace without the swim. The first run is 1.5 miles then 14 mile bike and 3.2 mile run.
